OCH058 NEULANDER

'Sex, God and Money CD Single

Debut UK release from New York based duo Neulander, who have been tipped by the New York Times as one of the 'hot tips' for 2003. A live review in the New York Times stated "Neulander are melodic unusually cool and slightly aloof. They are the duo Korinna Knoll and Adam Peters. The mix of krautrock and electro gives an immense excitement to the music that could only be described as Neu! taking on The Human League in battle!" Adam Peters was the founder and leader of New York's extraordinary Family of God. He has now teamed up with Austrian singer and visual artist Korinna Knoll and Ochre Records are proud to present their debut recordings. Release 04/08/2003.

OCH049 AARKTICA

'Morning One' CD Mini Album

Deleted

Morning One is the follow up to Aarktica's highly accalimed 2000 debut on Silber 'No Solace in Sleep' which received favourable comaprisons to Flying Saucer Attack, Labradford and Windy & Carl amongst others. Jon De Rosa is Aartika. Whilst the staple elements of the debut remain, 'Morning One' sees Aarktica moving away from the dreary glacial tape-echo guitar drone and towards a more lush and intricate sound built on piano, glockenspiel, samples and voice in addition to the familiar guitar-wash. Schoenberg meets Glass perhaps? "The First dawn you experience lying in bed next to someone you love. Sun through glass and at once all the world is warm. Waking, sleeping. Entangled with her. 'Morning One' was meant to be a tribute to that feeling says Jon DeRosa.   Released 30/04/2001
